Whampoa to Tiu Keng Leng

With an early morning start at Whampoa station, cruise down Nathan Rd while it is still quiet, then watch the city come to life as you run through the residential areas of Kowloon. Save your legs for the climb up O King Rd before triumphantly descending to the finish at Tiu Keng Leng station.

Tiu Keng Leng to Whampoa

Starting at Tiu Keng Leng station, you’ll have a short warm up along the waterfront before a challenging climb up O King Rd. With that out of the way, you can enjoy the fun downhill into Kwun Tong district. Take in all the sights and sounds of Kowloon as you make your way to Whampoa station.

Shorter Options

Kowloon is a densely populated area with plenty of MTR stations, bus stops and taxis along the way if you want to finish early. For a fun 5km run, start in the heart of the city at Yau Ma Tei station and head north to the base of Lion Rock Country Park at Lok Fu station.

Longer Options

From Tiu Keng Leng station, follow the Tseung Kwan O Line route towards Po Lam to add up to an additional 8km to your run.


Nathan Rd in Kowloon can be quite busy with pedestrian traffic, so consider beginning your run in the early morning to avoid the crowds.
